Loader fo a D-17

A friend of mine has a D-17 and wants to put a loader on it. Any ideas on what will fit?

On our D-19 we have an old farmhand loader. The only thing I dont like about it is it only has one hydraulic cylinder liftig the bucket and I would rather it be dual hydraulics on the bucket but its not bad. Just more power with 2.

I have the 170 loader on my WD. It is for the D17 but fits the WD just fine.

This is a D17SerIV with a Freeman 180 Loader.
I'm going to convert the bucket to hydraulic, (eventually).....it's trip bucket right now.
When I rebuilt the D17, I adeded another remote valve for this reason.

As you can see, it mounts up rather easily using the side rails and bolt-on brackets under the drive housings. The previosu owner put quick-disconnects on it, but they leak a little, so those will probably be replaced.
Also, I made new rear mounting brackets because the originals didn't seem very heavy.
Might make a new arched top piece to tie the sides together.

I believe there's a 170 loader that will fit a D17 also.

BTW, Series IV had the lower pressure/higher volume pump.
The previous D17s had high pressure/low volume and would not operate a loader efficiently....read "fast".

AC 400, Paulson, Schwartz, etc- with the right brackets and high pressure cylinders. Bound to be others as well.
