My B was repowered with one.

The stamp on the engine block (on flange at left rear) will begin with CR instead of CE (or BE for the early engine). The governer gives 200 more RPM (1600 vs 1400 if memory serves) which can be duplicated on a CE engine by adjusting the linkage. There is an oil management tray mounted over the valves (apparently the combines had a tendency to suck oil down the valve stems). Other than that I can see no differences to my other B's with the CE enigines.

They were the same engine, many ended up retrofitted to B & C tractors. They were governed a little faster.
