I would like to find a car from the Allis-Chalmers Company to restore. I really do not know anything about them or if they are affordable or not??? I would appreciate information about them if anyone has any. Also if anyone has a car for sale that is reasonable priced and in fair condition to restore, I would appreciate a contact. Thanks in advance. I am also looking for: CASE, IHC, Velie and Deere autos (or other cars that were made by tractor companies).

I don't know about Chalmers automobiles but if you are ever traveling the Trans Canda highway in western Canada there is a museum in the small farming community of Elkhorn, Manitoba that has well over fifty rare and unusual antique automobiles and one of them is a 1913 Case Model 30 automobile built by Jerome Case as an addition to the farm equipment line.

The closest you are going to come is pick-up's made by IH. Complying with emmision laws stop IH building pick-ups. None build cars but there is always hope. Maybe John Deere will start building cars. Kent

The Auto you are refering to was called a "Chalmers" and was last Mfg. in 1926 so most of them that survived Scrap Drives etc. have already been "Restored". You would be wise to visit an Auto museum such as Fords Dearborn Auto Museum in Dearborn Michigan and observe the price range of these kinds of Vehicles. Any one possessing one I am sure is very cognizant of the value of a vehicle such as this one.However if you have the resources to pursue this quest, " Go for It". Good Luck. John
