I am new to the world of Allis-Chalmers, but have a chance to pick up a gas D-15 that seems to be running fine, all sheet metal is sound, and tire, though checked are holding air. Fender lights work, power steering works fine. muffler is gone, it has a stand pipe welded on, the lines to the 3 point is leaking a bit, but the PTO seems to be turning just fine. He also has a manual front bucket (has a cable set up) laying off in the bushes for it. I can pick it up for $500..... so to all the experts..whats your call??
thanks in advance for the advice !

I just wanted to say thankyou to Rob & "Grapeape" for the imput on the D-15 tractor. I have had to wait while they took the offer to the board of directors, but I just got the word today that it's mine for the $500. also I discovered it's a "Series II" can someone tell me what that means and what the years of production were?

Again, thanks so much, I'm sure I'll be posting more soon.

If you don't want it, I'll take it.

Seriously that's a good deal if you don't mind working on it a little.
