will a wd 45 bellhousing fit on a wc?
i need a starter for my 34.

The front side will bolt to the engine. The back side will not bolt to the transmission. If you want a starter, you need the housing from a styled WC.

Agree that you need a bellhousing from a styled WC. Should be easy to find, I'm sure that Doc's Equipment in Lacon, IL would have them. There are many other Allis vendors that could supply them also.

I'm not sure since the trannys are different. A bellhousing from a 39 and newer WC would, of course. All the styled WC's had starters.

O would think so since you can drop a WD45 engine in to a WC or WD. so they should be the same. I know I had a WD45 engine in my WC speed patrol at one time
