Serail number 3331, which makes it a 1961 but the list of numbers doesn't brake it down as far as series numbers so what say you on this.
Thanks

Series III started at 42001. The Series III came with an oval muffler. They are otherwise the same. Seems like an awfully small change to warrant the series change!

There were a few other subtle changes on the series III, like the dry-type air cleaner; heavier drawbar bail; heavier fender bracing; cushion seat; etc.

Wish my book had all that info. Doubt if I'll remember most of it. Thanks for the info.

My book says that 32001 to 41540 are series II tractors. It is Persion Orange No 2. The wheels and grill are painted cream. The rims are silver. The muffler is round and silver.

Sorry Old, I should have added that 3331 would be a 1958. Jim

Old: 3331 would be on of the first ones or a series I. A 1961 would also be a larger #. Jim

Opps I missed one of the 3s. The number is 33331 not 3331. Sorry about that
