Enter a pull with. I'm thinking about takeing my C to a show think week end and maybe try it in a pull. So does any body pull a small tractor like a C and is there any tricks I might need to know.

The girl in Carolina, has the best looking tractor, best little pulling machine, and she is the best looking woman that I have ever seen pulling a tractor. Go to her web site or E-bay pages. She seems to handle herself with male and female pullers. Well I hate to say this but she is very... HOT

CHECK OUT P--KPOWERPULLING.COM I KNOW THIS TRACTOR VERY WELL SENT I AM THE ONE WHO BULIT IT. GREAT PULLER HARD TO BEAT FROM 2700 TO 3700 LBS. CLASSES. OLD YOU WILL HAVE TO FILL IN THE BLANKS WITH THE LETTER I N TO SEE THIS SITE. KIM WILL NOT LET THAT WORD ON HERE!!!!

Well I didn';t try to pull with it. The clubs lowest weight is 3250 and I figured if I added that much weight to it then it wouldn't have been able to do well. Oh well maybe next year I'll be able to get my Oliver super 88 back up there and give them a run for there money

old- there is a tractor named pink puller who has gained some notoriety over in the puller forum. now whether that is due to its woman driver or the tractor itself i dont know but she pulls C allis. She has a website, search the puller forum or the net you should be albe to come up with it. she may give some adivice.

Old. Allis "c" models do very well in the percentage pulls. If they have that the C will do very well.

Old, I've seen those smaller tractors put on an excellent show, they will actually pull a larger percentage of their own weight than the larger tractors will. The only problem you might encounter is whether or not there is a class for the light weights.

Old, I've never done this but I have seen them pull. The only tricks that I know of is to put fluid in rear tires (water even if that is all that is available). And adjust the hitch as high as they will allow you to do so. When I last pulled with my D-14, I didn't have any wrenches to adjust my drawbar. I did fair anyway but would have done a lot better if my hitch were higher - it was about 4 or 5" lower than permitted. Ran out of traction about half way down the track but engine wasn't feeling any strain.

If he has the drawbar as high as the rules allow he will get to look down his exhast pipe unless he hangs a lot of weight out front. I pull the C in the 3000 pound class or the 3250 class with the drawbar a 14 inches high without front weights. I set the drabar to where the front does not get high untill it gets to the end of what it will pull. The only time I have pulled the C at 18 inches was on a sand track where traction was a problem and it would spin out before climbing the gears.
Setting it up to pull really cant be done all that well without being able to read the track.
As soon as you get to the track start asking other people with like tractors about setting up your tractor. Some will not help but most will. When I would go to the track I would see other new pullers around my tractor with a ruler and if I started over they would take off. If they stayed around I would tell them what they wanted to know. Take a ruler and measure for your self other drawbars. You only want 6 to 8 psi in the rear tires.

This is just another way for me to maybe play on Saturday and since I'm going to try to haul my JD-B and this Allis C on the same load I figured what the heck if its there why not try to pull with it. I have to keep it as light as I can to be able to haul the 2 of them on one trailor but I might take a couple weights with me and figure out how to put them up front if I even try to pull with it

Old, in the pulls that I have been to, they have weighted and unweighted classes. I don't recall if the sled weighs more in the weighted classes. This pulling is fun if everything is stock. Some folks get a bit carried away. I have a friend pulls his Farmall M. He estimates horsepower at 95 - spent thousands on that engine. That is quite a jump from the factory 36 hp. And he removed his tricyle front end in favor of a single front wheel because it reduced his weight by 50 #. I think he has gone a bit over board. In most pulls, they let the modified pull in any gear so he pulls in 3rd or 4th. With rpm up to about 3000, he runs down the track like a rabbit. Stock classes all pull in 1st, I believe.
