I was getting ready to run it for my grandpa, and I noticed the oil filter is so old it's actually starting to rust! Needless to say, it's been a long time since the oil was changed. Does anyone know what the crankcase capacity is? I don't know the exact year, but it takes a the standard style spin on oil filter. Thanks!

Filter is the same as a Ford/Chrysler filter. Fram PH-8A long, PH-43 short, A-C PF-2 long, PF-20 short, Motorcraft FL-1A. At the Allis dealer I worked at years ago, One of the owners had a 57 Ford on which we used the D-17 fiter when we changed the oil. The G-262 power unit on my combind also can use the small diameter filter but it is speced for a Wix 51411.
