trouble with my WD.

I guess I have two issues with my WD. When I brush hog or make the tractor work. It seems to starve for gas and dies. It actually runs for maybe a couple minutes before stalling. I can start it right up but then dies immediately. If I leave the tractor sit for a little bit it runs again for a couple minutes then stalls. I have taken the carb apart and cleaned it, removed the sediment bowl and cleaned it as well and I'm sure I am getting enough gas to the carb. Any Idea what my issue is? I sure can't figure this out.

My other issue is that I seem to have an awful lot of blow by coming out of the oil cap on the valve cover. What causes that?

I went through the exact same behavior with my C. How about your fuel tank? You may be cleaning out the carb fine, but perhaps you're re-contaminating a good cleaning job with rust particles coming out of the tank. I found that it doesn't take much of those little rust particles to change the flow through a carburetor. I like to use the fuel bowl assemblies for Fords and Fergusons. They have the round dial that says "Main two turns, Reserve full open" and has an intake screen and a riser pipe inside the fuel tank whereas the typical Allis fuel bowls have an open hole at the bottom of the tank and allows gunk to flow through. The threads are all the same, so it will screw into your tank.

The other posts are correct that blow-by is compression slipping past worn rings. Over time, it can promote gumming inside the engine.
