My 615 has a front end loader and a back hoe. After last winter, the front end loader is slow and jerky. The hoe is slow and low on power. I don't have any manuals other than the tractor's. Anyone know where I could get a tip or manual for these 2 accessories?

I think Kent is more on target. Sounds like water contamination in your fluid which will cause jerkiness. Could also be the pump itself. Just changing fluid and filters does not undo prior damage. Iron doesn't heal when injured.

check the pressure relief valve, look for leaks, check that the fluid you are replacing is the proper grade and GOOD quality. Don't go cheap on fluid. It does matter. check to make certain there isn't something loose floating around that could intermittently cause a flow blockage(ie.plastic wrap, paper, rust flake...etc.) good luck.

So after I check the pressure coming out of the pump and if it is good, what should I do next???

Check you hydrulic pressure. Sounds like this is you problem. You said it happened after last winter. Did you maybe have some water in you hydrulic oil that could have seperated out, freezing up, and damaging the pump or other parts of the system.

Hi Kent,

I didn't do anything different last winter than any other. Filters are changed often. I changed the fluid with no change. No leaks

When using the loader, it will lift and then pause for 5 to 10 seconds, then lift a few inches higher. It doesn't make TOO much difference if it is loaded or empty. Someone said there is an unloader valve that may have junk in it but I'm not sure where it is located. Any clues?
