I have a ac b which i made a 3 pt lift for and i was wondering if i can have down pressure from my hyd cyclinder, now it only goes up and the weight of implement brings it down.Is this possible with the b pump, the cyclinder has a inlet on each end and i have a hyd control vavle which i think might would work,BUT im not sure how to go about it, anybody got any ideas that might help

If your lift has a double acting cylinder (ie, there is an inlet at each end of the cylinder) then all you need is to make sure that you have a two way valve. The pump does't matter as it just pumps the oil from the reservoir to the valve. A two way valve will have four ports, an inlet from the pump, a return to the tank and a port for each end of the cylinder. If the valve is the only valve on the system it should also be equiped with a pressure relief. If you do not have a good understanding of hydraulics, you should have a knowlegeble person help you.

Ok if i remove hyd line from cyclinder and attach to new vavle then run 3 more lines from vavle one to bottom inlet and one to top intlet on cyclinder then another from the vavle to the pump, will the one back to the pump attach at the access plug.I have a diagram of the pump.Or will it go to the intake vavle plug underneath the pump, whick runs into where the pump intake pipe is located. If either.

I can only get you started on how to do it but can't tell you the whole story. What you would have to do is plumb the outlet of the pump into the valve you have and then some how plumb the other side of the valve back into the tractor. Also you would have to either lock the valve on the tractor so it pumps all the time or pull it and your other valve to get things to work
