i am looking info on spoke wheels on frt wc with rubber tires .did they have a round spoke & if yes where they 15or16 & what years THANK YOU IN ADANVCE.

Like Butch said, my 1935 WC has 17" rubber on the front.

Lots of 17" wheels were cut for easier to obtain 15 or 16" rims and tires and lots of front steel was cut down for 15 or 16" rims for rubber. So much so that a set of non cut front steel or 17" round spokes for rubber are as valuable as a so/so complete WC. According to books, no WC was shipped with spoke fronts and 15 or 16" wheels.

Prior to mid 1936 (serial number escapes me) All WCs on rubber came on round spoke front rims with integral hubs and the tractors on rubber had 17" wheels. From mid 1936 until about 1938 rubber tired tractors had 6 bolt hubs and 16" disk wheels. After then 5 bolt hubs and wheels, still 16"

Thanks for the info. I remember my uncles "35 had the round spokes but I never paid any attention to their size, our "36 and "37 had the disk wheels dished out and the "38 had them dished in so they could be flipped over for a wider track when running in muddy conditions. you really had to hang on to the steering wheel in this configuration.
