rear end seals on wc

I had my Wc out the other day and when i was gonna put it in the barn i noticed gear oil all the way around my back tire.It must have been leaking pretty good when i was running it.how hard are they to replace ? also there was gear lube comeing out of this hole right above a bolt.Why would it be comeing out of there ? thanks for any help. shaun

Check the local dealer for rear axle seals. I put mine in myself. There are 2 seals, one on each side of the brakes. Also if the hole you are referring to is in the drop portion of the axle, that is a vent hole for the brakes. The hole is above the set bolt for the spindle that the large gear rides upon.

Worst part is getting the axle shaft out.
