Looking at an AGCO ALLIS 9695 with 531 CID Series 40 Detroit engine and an 18/9 powershit transmission. I am looking for input good or bad on these tractors, engines, transmission ect. Dealer claims these tractors had some fuel pump problems that caused engines to not sustain power under heavy load and bog down a bit. Dealer claims this tractor has had this problem fixed. I looking to pull a 5 shank disc ripper in heavy soils and am wondering if this tractor would be adequate. Dealer says he would not be afraid to boost pump (standard factory setting now) up 15% to get around 230 HP. He feels this Detroit is a better engine than the 505 CID Cummins engine in the bigger model DT series tractors made now. Any input would be appreciated. TIA
