Right side steering locking drives.Leeking fluid on inside of driv housing.left side works fine.manual is on the way....till then...i need some imput or advise on a fix. Crawler is in good shape and runs like a top..... thanks

If the right final drive is locking up, sounds to me like the bearings are out on either the pinion or the drive axle, causing one or the other to move and bind up. Very possible, with oil leaking into the final case - bad seal would be caused by such a thing.

I would jack it up and take a bar to see if I could move the sprocket sideways. If not, then try the same with the pinion. You will probably have to pull the clutch to really be able to check the pinion. If the bearings are out, I think you would be best off to pull the final drive off the tractor. Doesn't take that long, and is SOOOO much easier to work on than when on the tractor. Manual will explain in good detail all the steps involved. The first time is the hardest, but it really is pretty simple.
