wd oil pan front gaskets

I am having an oil leak on the front and rear of the oil pan. I have the thick cork pieces installed, but I must not have had the clips. Even so, how do you use them? It was an aggravating two hours until I finally thought I finished the project. I used Indian Head to seal the gaskets, but when I started up the tractor, the oil started running out slowly. Does anyone have a trick to keep these gaskets in place while sealing them. Can I use silicone or other heavy material to seal up everything on front and back along with the cork gasket if I really clean the area up (no oil).

Also, the pushrod cover seems to be leaking on the bottom rear corner near the oil filter. It seems like a bad design because I used a new gasket and shellac and it still leaks. It looks like there is not a bolt close enough to the outside edge to seal it. Can anyone offer any suggestions on this.

Also, why would it appear that gas was running out from the choke shaft on the carburetor. I started up the tractor for about the second time since overhaul and after I turned it off and came back to my garage, there was gas all over the floor. It was running down the carburetor from the side of the choke shaft it seemed. I didn't think the choke shaft came in contact with the gas. I thought it just restricted air. Maybe there is a leak or plug up somewhere else and it is running out.

I need to finish my tractor for a FFA contest by august 25. I am about done, with these setbacks. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks alot.

Do not over tighten tourque to mfg. specs. Check your manual for specs.

the AGCO kt with the clips is the best choice for the WC and WD pan. I tye mine around a coffee can for a few tays until the hold the curve shape, then install with the clips.You may have used too much sealer which will allow the gaskets to push out. A little goes a long way.
Do not trime the excess showing in the picture, as the pan pulls up tight it will work out right.
