Ok Ive started to split my ca to fix the flywheel for safety do I need to remove the back wheels also how is the best way to brace the tractor before Isplit it I have a cherry picker for the front part but not sure how to brace the rear thanks terry

This one is not as dangerous as it seems. Once the engine and front end and gas tank are off the tractor, one man can lift the new front of the tractor. Two men can pull it around the shop (if you have concrete). Probably the pressure on a jack is about a hundred pounds. Of course, this can be different depending on what is mounted on the rear of the tractor.

I bolt a peace of chanel iron to the side of the bell housing that goes all the way to the floor, that way it cant fall, use the two 5/8 bolts that are about six inches a part on the bellhousing
