Hi All!

Regarding both the A.S.A.E. drawbar and the swinging drawbar that can be put on a B or C....

How much further does each one extend the hitching point from the center hole of the original drawbar?

Thanks ahead for any answers!

It is 7 1/2 inches from the center hole of the drawbar to the hole in the ASAE extension.

I believe the ASAE drawbar dimensions have to do with the distance between the end of the PTO shaft and the pin in the drawbar that connects the implement to the tractor. I believe this dimension is to be 14 inches for a 550 PTO and 18 inches for a 1000 PTO. I used to have a swinging drawbar, and I would guess that it would expend the length by amout 4-5 inches. AC had a heavy metal plate that bolted to the BC drawbar, which was termed the "ASAE" drawbar, and it extended the drawbar the correct lenght.

Hope this helps. Tom Davison in PA

Not sure what you mean by the ASAE one but if its the type that bolts to the draw bar and then goes back and a little lower it moves the hook up point back about 6-10 inches. I'd have to go out and measure to get the exact meassurement on it to know for sure how far back it would be

ASAE is American Society of Agricultural Engineers.
