This Universal wide front end says it is for a WC but was removed from a WD. It is going on my WD, I think. The problem is that it hits the steering post before it hits the frame. Is the WC narrower than the WD? I plan to put some 1/2 inch by 6 inch angle in there to fill the gap and allow me to use the lower set of steering box mounting bolts to secure it in place. Any others put one of these Universal front ends on? Thanks

I think it probably was removed from a tractor, but they left something on the tractor that should have gone with the wide front end. WC, WD, and WD-45 all have the same type of frame rails and the same width.

Could you get some flat bar stock that was as thick as the gap between the frames and wide enough to bolt to both frames? Drill and bolt it in as an adapter. Easier to build than explain! Good luck!

No I have never chaged one. But it seems to me that you are going to have to remove that pedestal.
