I just looked an Allis Chalmers 5015 that has a 4' finish mower. It has low hours and looks good. It has 2 wheel drive. Does it have plenty power for the 4' finish mower? Price is $2600. Any comments would be helpful.

I sold one back in 1983 and as far as I know it"s still going. If I remember right it had 48" belly mower and it was gear drive.I saw the fellow that bought it a few years ago and he said it was the best thing he ever bought. He traded a 17hp 48" gas tractor he was filling the gas tank every other mowing and with the 5015 he could run all summer on a tank of diesel fuel. Should be a 3 cyl. engine. Good Luck.

I have a 5015. It has an 18HP engine with 15HP at the pto. I have a 48" 3pt finish mower on it and it works good. I"ve even used it in the hay field pulling a Ford 5 bar hay rake. Very easy on fuel.
