What opinions are there among you AC gurus about the suitability of attaching a belly mower to a CA and using it for tending to a couple of acres of grass?

The belly mower will work grait if you keep it mowed down to 4-6 in and dont let it get to tall the belly mower will bee handy the hand clutch if it workes is also a plus we have 2 CAs one with a woods L306 and the other has a woods RM600 wich os the same mower just 3pt both 6ft cut the belly works best the 3pt mower when you go round sometheng like a litel tree or fowers if you are not carful it will sway over and take them out

I used a CA for several years with a 5 foot Caroni finish mower and was very satisfied with it. I nver had a C or a B, can't imagine there being much real difference...a few horsepower.

The old CA was a dandy machine, wish I had held onto it. It was easy on gas, ran perfectly and for it's size, really stout.

I used my CA with a 5 foot shredder and found it to be the best shredder tractor that I ever had. I now use the same shredder with my C and don't like it as well. It's not the same as a finish mower but shouldn't be much different.

From what I read on several AC forums, the CA is a favorite with either a Woods L59 (5') or L306(6'). The nf CA seems to be preferred since it is more maneuverable than the wf. The hand clutch on a CA probably makes it handier than a B or C for creeping through thick stuff.

Well they work well on the B and the C so one would work well on your CA. Shoot if I could find one for my C it would have it on instead of the sickle mower that is on it.
