Looking at an 1997 AGCO Star 8360 bare back 4WD tractor with low hours. It has a 855 Cummings, 18F/2R Eaton Fuller trans., and heavy duty anti slip axles.

I've grown up on AC tractors but have no knowledge of this tractor. It would be used for ripping corn stalks, field cultivating, applying NH3 and hauling loads of during harvest. Couple of wives who prefer power shift transmisions would also be using tractor at times. Not familiar with this trans. and am concerned about ease of use for the women. Any info good or bad on this tractor would be helpful. TIA

agcostar tractors were based on the massey articulated 4wd fitted with a cummins. It was strictly an Agco idea, related to allis only by marriage. haven't seen but a couple. cant tell you about ease of operation, but they are a fairly late model design (1990's)so should have modern technology. 8360 should be 360 engine hp.

Dagwood: I've had one wife for 36 years. I couldn't handle a couple of them. (GRIN) Jim
