I trying to track how much an used mower for my CA would run.... Is a belly unit or pull behind better? How much does a good decent unit costs? What brands are out there like Woods?

Thanks for input. Greg

Greg, I have a 6' land pride finish mower that I use on either my B or on dads CA. Both are converted to 3 point hitch. The mounts for a belly mower on a C probably won't fit a CA.If I was to do it over I would go with a belly mower on the B, it would be much easier to maneuver. The 3 point is much easier to take on and off though. If you have reasonably flat ground The Ca is plenty of tractor for this mower but it bogs a little on some of my hills, it's a little old and tired though. Good luck with your CA they are great tractors. Mike

I have a C Allis on ebay at the moment, with a Woods L 59 Belly Mower on it, if the reserve is not met, and I doubt if it will be, I would sell the mower off of it. This Woods set up, is not a cobbled up adapted one, it was made for a C, and most likely a CA Allis. Located in Liberty Indiana, 47353. Feel free to check it out, at the link below. You can contact me thru, ask seller a question, if you would like.
