AC 160 hydraulic problems.

Hi,

They hydraulics ( 3 pt ) on my uncle's AC 160. They just stopped. Is ther anything that could be checked before any mojor work is done? Like filters? are the filters internal?

The filter is inside the rear housing. Follow the suction line from the pump back to the housing. A small cover plate with 4 nuts allows access to the filter.
If the system is not lifting at all it might just need to be bled. Crank the tractor, rais the lift control and open the bleed screw on the pump. When fluid begins to come out close the screw. This is a common problem with this tractor when the pump gets a good bit of wear on it.
