Decal Colors ?

Hello

I would like to know what is the proper decal color for the Allis name on the side of the fuel tank.

I have a WD45 that came with blue lettering and the current set I just received has black lettering.

It is still very easy to find (I'd bet this website has it) Even if you pay the full price for the book it is very worth it.

WD-45 should be black letters that are the same size all the way across...unlike earlier decals where the A and S were longer than the rest of the letters.

I'm on the road and don't have my book with me, but it seems like blue letters, long A&S up to about 1944 or 1945, then black letters, long A&S up to around 1948 (I think), then black even letters up to the D series.
