Many CA`s had a hand clutch which broke the power to one rear wheel and thus gave you independent power to the pto and hydraulics. This was somewhat different than the hand clutch on the WD/WD45, but did the same thing as far as the pto and hydraulics were concerned. It seems that many of the hand clutch levers have been removed from CA`s and there for those without a working hand clutch will not have the ability to stop tractor movement while still allowing the pto and hydraulics to work. I am not sure if all CA`s came from the factor with the hand clutch or not.
