I am restoring a wd and i am having trouble removing the seat bushing that is in front of the brake housing. It is broken and the bolt is bent and worn. does anybody know how to remove this piece? Also, I can get a new bushing from AGCO for $54, which seems unreasonable. Does anyone know of any alternatives to replacing this bushing. Thanks.

I did this on my 51 WD. I had to tourch out the old bushings. I got my bushings from a local shop that bought them from Stiners Tractor parts. A little recerch on the web or ebay you will find them. The bolt that goes threw the assembley is a standard carage bolt. I don"t know the size. I"d also reeplace the shock bushings at the same time. Oh buy the way my wd book said there should be a 1/16 " gap between the new bushings. Good luck.
