d17 clutch/power director wearing out?

one time while harrowing with the d17 i stoped for a minute and went to start off again and it doesnt move. i try high and low and have to go to alower gear and its better.
then i was bringin a load of quash probably like 3and a half tons a few miles away and when i shift from low to high on the road it hesitated a little. could a clutch/ power dierector componet be wearing out?

try standing on the brakes till governor kicks in...if somethings slipping you'll be able to tell...if it slips in both hi and low its probably the main clutch...havent heard of both sides of pd going out together but its possible.
