Does anyone know of a source of WC manifolds that exit out the side rather than straight up. Just purchased a '37 only to discover the manifold is cracked and very badly rusted. I have a WD-D17 manifold, can it be modified to exit out the side under the hood? Any help would be appreciated. Also does anyone have NOS brake bands for a WC? Thanks, any help would be appreciated

The side outlet manifolds are availible new from several sources but I can't post a link here. They are also very expensive. You might check the the site owners parts page which is linked over to the left of this page down at the bottom, she might have them now but didn't use to Used ones are around for sale too as are N.O.S. brake linings. Place a want ad on this site, link is to the left of this page, and you should get many responces. There is no need to jury rig a D-17 manifold to side exit.
