Got a ca needs tires all around has good curb appeal. this guy wants to swap for a B with pto box for front hyds that operate snow/grader blade . tractor took 2nd place at show. i saw a picture of the B and it looked real nice.Electric,12v con,good tires,wide frt. he doesn't know year. my CA has leak in pto seal and rear seal on motor and won't stay in tird gear without holding it in. has rear hyds two rear clylinders easy 3 pt conversion and middle wet lines,wide adj. frt. PLEASE!!! tell me your opion

Hi Gary,

I don't have any experience with CA. I have a C and had a B. The negative items you spoke of on your CA are fairly easy to address except the not staying in third gear....I don't know..is that meaning a build-up of the shifter is needed?

I believe that hand clutch gives you the effect of live PTO...you won't have that on the B.

The B is going to have three speeds, in which I wish first was second, second was third, and there was new lower gear for first.

Sounds like your CA needs some work. It would be a great tractor if it were fixed up. The B is fixed up, but in my opinion, it`s not something I`d want. If I had a B, I`d be looking to trade up to a CA too. Why is this guy wanting to trade you?
