correct me if im wrong, but wont all ac snap coupler
implements fit any ac tractor with a snap coupler hitch?

Can you put a snap coulpler implement on a non snap coupler equiped tractor, such as a 3 bottom snap coupler plow on a non snap coupler WD?

You have to retrofit a snap coupler hitch bell and latch to the tractor, or change the plow tongue back to pin type. The lift arm latches are no problem, you either leave them on or take them off to accomodate the implement.

The lift arms on the CA, D10 and D12 tractors are closer together, so implements with a fixed distance between these lift points (the Oxnard blade for example) need to be modified to fit. I have a snap coupler blade with 2 sets of holes so it will fit both sizes. I've also noticed different lift points on these blades.

When dad's customers upgraded from a WD to a D17 and used the same plow, a longer turnbuckle link had to be installed on the left lift link and the existing left link moved to the right. Then if that plow was later used on a WD, the tractor could barely lift it off the ground. So there were some minor compatability issues.

I was talking to a guy the other day and he had a plow that he hooked up to his WD or WD45 and it come up and bent up the floor pan he did not know there was a diferance ether unless something he did not see hung up on him

I can speak for WD-45(&D), CA, and D-14, they work interchangeably. I"ve a mixture from those models. The system was absolutely consistent across those.

I think that depends on what you mean by fit. You might be able to hook up a 5 bottom plow to a CA snap coupler, but you aren't going anywhere with it. I do believe that the snap couplers are all the same size and that all lift arm latches are the same size and the same width apart.
