Does anyone know how to engage the belt pully on a WC I'm afraid that to gear is broken inside.

If you want to check out the condition of the gears, drive the right wheel up on a block or ramp about a foot high. That will keep the oil from leaking out when you pull out the pulley. There is a bolt with locknut above the pulley sleeve that slides into the frame. Loosen that, pull the assembly out to inspect. When the dealer installed the pulley, he should have punch-marked the sleeve for the proper position/hole. The holes in the sleeve are not in line- they are staggered, so you can pick the right one. When the pulley is pushed in to engage the drive gears, you should have some play- rotate the pulley back and forth, when the play is about 1/8 inch on the surface of the pulley, punch-mark the top of the sleeve to indicate the right hole has been found. Tighten down the bolt and locknut. If you engage the pulley while the engine is running, you need to lock down the clutch pedal- otherwise the driveshaft for the pulley is turning.
