Hey all, I recently came across an old Allis, WF serial #219 near where I live. It's all there, but needs assembly. Never been restored in the past so it's pretty crusty. Not rusted, just field worn. Anyway, the tin's good, has fenders, motor needs assembled. The current owner wants $600. I can see it needs front tires, main and rod bearings, a gasket set, etc. What's your opinion on this old gal? I only ask having never worked on an AC before (mostly JD and IHCs...I know, I know) but I've been thining of broadening my horizons so to speak!

Hey I have serial#222, how about that! I've been wondering also what it would be worth, sitting for a long time but all there. Thanks for your posting. This one someone converted to hydrolic steering with a lever like a bulldozer and added a front loader. Isn't it amazing that even sitting like that the sheet metal stays strong, what tough ol' tractors. Thanks again.

An unstyled WF with that low a S/N is definitly worth $600! Fairly rare tractor, only about 8000 made styled and unstyled and many of that number were reversed and made into loaders. You will enjoy the tractor! Nice old machine.

She's got solid wheels up front, spoked wheels in the back, rubber all the way around. The rears look to be factory, the fronts could be stock or anything as I'm not up to date on my AC history (yet!). Fronts are shot but that'sonly like $90 for new ones at the local southern states. The rears look like they'll hold air for awhile longer yet. I'll keep you all posted.

I'd gladly pay that for an unstyled WF. Guy in northern MN jockeys styled ones for 1100-1500 and they are just parts tractors. WF shares many parts with the WC- it's just the wheatland version of the WC. When my styled WF is done, I'll have about $2500 in it- new fenders and tires being the major cost items. Yours is a 1937 (#4-388)- does it have steel wheels?

Can't really help you much since I have never had or seen a WF but I know in the last year I hauled in a WD cost was $150 and maybe $50 in parts to make it run. 2 a WD-45 runs a drives good cost $750. Both have pretty good tires front and rear and both have good sheet metal. So you can go from there, not sure if a WF in running condition is worth more of less then either one of the tractors I used to compare cost of
