Hello
Allis chalmers fuel gauge Part # 70240988V
This one is different from the original it has three prongs on the back.
The one I have has two, so I connected the sending unit one to the one marked sending unit, and the other side straight across to jumper of the temp. gauge and to the fusible link on the same prong.
The gauge said full but the tank is not full. sending unit side . . jumper from temp. gauge and fusible link . Should it be connected to this prong ? Thanks Nancy

I was told by the dealer it could be the grounding of it but it was not.
He said it could be the sending unit.
Is there a way to check this?
