It is time to do a 3-point conversion on my Model B. I've looked at the Cross hitches that Jim Daforth and Tony Carbaugh carry. I like them, but I don't like how they seem to intefere with the seat frame in the pictures I've seen of them. I've considered a homemade hitch, but I'm a little wary of the specifications (or at least my ignorance of them). Any suggestions out there on how to make the Cross work or make my own? Any pics?

I just installed a Cross 3 point conversion on my C and have enjoyed it thus far using it for some rear blade work. I found that the Cross kit doesn't come with written directions but the vendor was very helpful in answering my questions. The only interference that I have seen is that the top link rotates up real close to the seat cushion - other than that I haven't found any issues with it.

I've had a Cross hitch on my B for about a year now and am very satisfied with it. It doesn't interfere with the seat at all as far as I can tell.
