Antique Tractor Rules

Is anybody going to the WNYG&SEA rally Labor day weekend? I undersdtand that the antique pulling that takes place on Thursday Night is restricted to tractors that are 1939 or older. I have a 1942 Farmall M and have pulled this tractor at this event for the last 3 years at this event. So the rules change and I am out!! But the good news is I can pull on Saturday during the event with those annoying freckin garden tractors!! This totally sucks. I am a lifetime member and I think this is a cheap deal at best. Call Roy Metz at (585) 535-7878 and let him know that this decision to limit the age of the tractor to 1939 or older is a mistake!! Last year it was 1945 or older (60 years old).

Just give up that expensive hobby. Pulling a 3 bottom plow is more fun anyway. Rather be a part time farmer than a no time farmer

I think that the antique tractor catigory should include 1949 and older. 1950 through 1960 are classic and 1961 through today are all regular farm tractors. But no matter what I have 1944 Allis C and it will always be antique where every I go no matter what everybody else thinks. That's my opinion.

Antique should be 39 and older with a class for 40 to 55 for tractors called clasic, that is what it is for all pulls that I know of around here

Thats OK cuzz us annoying freking garden tractors don't think well of you either. With an attitude like yours no wonder they changed the rule and do not want to play with you anymore!

Well, Uncle Ernie, I don't know where you are from, but at the Alexander show, the garden tractors are PAID to show up, while the antique tractors have to pay to pull??!! Totally backwards if you ask me. And then when you have to pull side by side with the GT's, you can barely hear yourself think. If garden tractors is what you're into, then fine, I don't have a problem with that. All that i'm saying is at this particualr show, the GT's should pull by themselves on the track. Have a seperate time frame for them instead of making the antique pullers PO'd. And if you can't get GT's to pull at your show without paying them, then they aren't worth having at the show. All in all, I agree with the gentleman about the WNYG&SEA comments.

I think the best way is to have 2 tracks and pull one right after the other so sometheng is going down the track but that is just me a spectator
