Is there a safe limit to what attachments I could put on my Model C ? I know that the hydraulics will handle a Woods belly mower, as this is what it had when purchased. I will be converting it over to a 3 pt. hitch and was wondering what I can move towards. A few years ago, someone had a nice, clean modification of the hydraulics and the pump with a seperate fluid reservoir. If anyone has some ideas, let me know. Thanks again. Brett

on our CA with the Woods belly mower you have to take the 3pt off to put the belly mower on and take the belly mower all off to put the 3pt on if you need a tractor with 3pt get a 3pt finishing mower insted of a belly mower it will save alot of work swaping equipment

I have a 6 1/2 foot three point disc that I pull with a B. Its weight is listed at 540 lbs. Without weights on the front of the tractor it gets very light in the front and would not be safe to drive. I have a rock box on the front of the tractor and one on the disc for weight (never seems to be a shortage of available rocks). To make the disc really dig I add 150 lbs or so to the disc but then just use it as a pull type and don't try to lift it. Limit your implements to 500 lbs and you should be fine.

The thing to watch for with a "C" is weight of the implement on the three point. These little guys are a bit front end light and adding a 3 pt moves the implement weight even further back from the center of gravity. Also you have no draft control on an aftermarket 3pt so plowing is not much of an option. Handles a small bushog or blade pretty well. The Allis attachments for a C work great as they were designed for the tractor. Allis made a hydraulic system that goes on the PTO. Mostly have seen them with loaders.
