A friend of mine has an Allis Chalmers Speed Patrol Grader that needs the large cork final drive seal ... could be like a packing. Does anyone know of a supplier? Has anyone out there replaced the cork seal with shaft packing as would be used on a boat propeller shaft? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks,
George

AGCO has them, about $25-30, now made of neoprene

Just about every part on that is the same as a WC tractor and you should be able to get the parts from AGCO

Since (I believe) that is the same as a WC you should be able to get the seals. I think from AGCO, but I am not sure. I know they are available, my brother got a set a few years ago for a WC he was doing and he is doing another now and hasn't mentioned any problem with getting the seals. I think you get a kit with new style neoprene seals in it.
