Selling my 8N. I got it, not to work, but to learn and have some fun. So, it's time to move on to another brand. Now, the question is this: Have in mind an AC B. Been sitting two years. Haven't heard it run. Guy says it does, and I'm taking his word for it, although I will test that out, first. Assuming it does, it needs a battery, a front tire and tube, starter work, clutch work, a seat, and general appearance work. Wants $600. Is this a fair price, if it runs well? Don't know the extent of the clutch or starter, may be major or minor. What would you pay in your part of the country? I'm in Utah, and prices seem to be a tad higher, here.

Price sounds right to me. Saw a "C", in similar condition, sell at auction in Southern Colorado this spring for $750.00.

If it sat for two years, it may be stuck. $600 here sometimes at auction can get you a rough but running WD, saw a C with cutter bar field ready go for $850 this month at auction. I guess it depends on what you want to pay, I bought a B with mower, plows and cultivator for $1400. Some may think that was too high, but the tractor is used a lot so I think it was worth it.

Turns over, has old gas. I think it will run, but engine condition is my concern. Thanks for your comments, I appreciate them.
