D-17 Torque lever

I might purchase an Allis D-17 Series 4, it has no problems to the eye but the torque lever pops out when you first get on the road but then after that it is fine. I was wondering what kind of problem that could be and what is a reasonable price for a tractor like that. Thanks

I know the 175 sometimes does that as well. I understand it is no big deal and a simple adjustment is supossed to care care of it. I am just passing on what I have been told by a couple of old timers that have been around Allis's longer than I have been around.
