Allis C water in the oil problem.

Well as I said I'm starting to hate these Cs, but this time it seems to be a simple fix, other then the oil haveing to be changed again which I just did. What I found was the freeze plug in the center of the head had a hole about an 1/8 inch in diameter in it and of course you know what happened to the oil because of it. I have a new plug in now and its stitting full of water and I'll put oil in if and only if the water level stays where it is after a few hours.

That is a common thing for the freeze plug in the head of the old ACS to let go or pop out.A lot of owners were happy to see that freeze plug laying out when they pulled the valve cover off,most of the time it was a sign that the head had survived the freeze or the rust had eaten it up and let them know that it was time for a flush and new antifreeze.Good luck Georgeharry
