The clutch on my WC barely disengages when I depress the pedal all the way. How to fix?

According to the WC repair manual, you remove the large cover on the bottom of the clutch housing. Then you adjust the screws (I'd guess these are on the pressure plate) until you have a 0.25" clearance between the fingers and the throughout bearing. If you send me an email, I'll mail you what I have. I've never made this adjustment on a WC.

The symptom you describe usually means the clutch is worn out. While you have the plate off and after you've made the adjustment, lock the clutch in the disengage position. By looking through the cover area and with the use of mirrors as necessary, inspect the flywheel surface and everything else you can see. If the clutch is shot bad, you'll probably see gouges or roughness on the flywheel and pressure plate; and the rivots on the clutch disk will be shiny and flush with the surface of the clutch disk. I don't know how much you'll be able to see.
