Allis B rear wheels

I have just removed the rear wheels on my 47 allis B and all the lugs on the rims just fell off ?? there is no sign of them ever been welded,should they be ??.they look to me like they are designed to self clamp, they dont look like wheels normaly fitted.if this is the case how do I re-fit them.

John. If your "B" has the original wheels with rounded ridge around the inside of the rims the lugs are not supposed to be attached. Two of the bolts that held them in place should have an offset shoulder under the head. Once the wheel is in place two of the lugs are fixed and the two cam bolts will tighten the other lugs against the wheel and then the wheel is held in place.

Thanks for that, you have made my day as I thought I would have to weld them, even went off looking for new ones. 3 of the bolts have cams one has not
