I have a picture somewhere of this. I have NEVER done this but I understand the G-230 power unit from an A Gleaner is almost a bolt in except for the need to lengthen the frame rails, steering shaft and hood.

You don't lengthen the frame rails, only move the radiator forward. Thus the longer hood.
It is much easier if you already have all the parts from a WD45 Diesel, since that was almost the same basic block as the 262 engine.

I did not know the G-262 power unit was used on the Gleaner A. I thought the G-230 was used on the A. My Gleaner C-II uses the G-262 power unit.
