Pulling the engine out shortly. The manual says first to remove hood and radiator. I'm stuck already! Radiator. I see one bolt on the right side and the hoses, both disconnected. It rocks a little. I cant get the radiator shroud off yet, and the radiator is next. Where does it unbolt??? Any pointers on removing the engine, as I have never done this before. Need to free up them pistons. Very slow at this job!

Watch out for those two 1/2" (3/4" head) that go up through the frame and into the radiator frame. If you put ones that are too long back in you will screw them up into the bottom tank on the radiator. there isn't much room for extra length here. If I remember youcan look in and see just barely what is happening. Just something to remember and watch for.

You need a 3/4" socket a 4" extension and a ratchet. If you look, there is a bolt on each corner of the radiator through the frame rail. If you look directly below that bolt, there is a hole in the lower frame rail as well. Hold the socket between the rail and the rad, stick the extension through the lower rail hole, attach the socket and remove the bolt. You may have to turn the wheels left or right to make some room. The front grill and hood should have a ring of bolts up the sides and over the top of the rad. Fan shroud is permanent to the rad and does not come off. Engine removal. Works best to pull the section of steering shaft out that the wheel is attached to. Just take it out of the u-joint at the fram rail and slide it out. Rest is pretty straight forward. Think it's 4 bolts at the bellhousing, the starter, and a couple under the front engine support. An engine hoist and leveler work the best to help roll the engine up and out. Not sure on the WC but on the WD you remove radaitor and grill piece in one piece. Theres 4 or 6 bolts that hold it on and can be hard to see them all. You also need to uncouple the steering and pull the steering rad back so the engine will swing free
