Want to change hydraulic oil in my series III. It apperars to have a hydraulic filter, at least there are two filter on the right side of engine. I assume the rear one is hydraulic. Also I believe the plug to the left of trans shifter is the hydraulic filler plug. Which drain plug underneath drains the hydraulic fluid?
Also can anyone provide me with a replacement filter number?
One mor question, What does the knurled knob next to the remote hydraulic connection do?

Thanks for any help!!!!

The AC mfgr number for the filter is 70237000- same as the engine oil filter. www.agcocorp.com for a dealer locater. You'll find answers to all your other questions in the operator manual, including an explanation for using the (knurled) transport valve.

Thanks for filter info!
I have manual on order but wanted to change hydraulic oil before mowing hay because my oil looks milky. Still not sure where to drain the hydraulic oil at.

Drain plugs are underneath the tractor, left side, on pressed steel sump covers. About inch in diameter. One under the PD clutch, one about a foot to the rear. Differential drain plug is in the exteme rear of the tractor, bottom side.
