I just bought this tractor it had a overheating problem. The previous owner replaced the water pump and thermostat. The radiator seems clear, but it still gets too hot.I just pulled the cylinder head. The head, gasket and bore look great. When it was hot I noticed a coolant leak that seemed to come from the gasket but now that I have it apart there is no indication that it leaked. Also engine oil is clear and and it did not smoke.I am going to have the head checked for a possible crack by a machine shop this week.I noticed you had a question a while back on this model tractor for sale on E Bay With the same problem. Is this common? Also this three cylinder is made in japan any info about who makes it and where to find parts -THANKS! you guys provide an awesome service keeping these tractors alive.OhYeah product i.d.3 is:6140-2089 the engine #is hard to read; here is what I came up with:3S23S 01222 trans serial#is:E402A-0962

Mine had a heating problem a few years ago. I took the radiator to a rad shop and they recored it. That was the end of the problems. It hasn"t heated up since. Radiators can get plugged on the inside in time and restrict the coolant flow. I hope this helps.

Made in Japan by Toyosha Hinomoto. Hopefully AGCO will get you everything you need. Otherwise, check the yards for used parts.
