i have an early 7080 with two glass filters.
the fuel is sucked up by injection pump so i am told. i want to put on spin on filters and add
an electric fuel lift pump. parts manual shows a
stanadyne upgrade. anyone have any experience ? i live on a hillside farm and am sensitive to level of fuel in tank and am subject to cold weather starts & spin on works easier & is less expensive.

I also think that the pump needs to be adjusted for the added pressure a lift pump will feed it. The pump will need to be set to recieve this pressure instead of sucking up the fuel from the filter body. Good luck

I recently worked on a neighbors' 7060 with the kit installed.

It is a electric vane-type transfer pump feeding a spin-on filter.

If Agco can't help you, you should be able to find a pump rated for diesel fuel, and a filter supplier such as WIX or Bladwin will have a filter/base kit.
