Ok I found the pto input shaft is bent. How it got bent is any ones guess. But as one man said," When you sling a driveshaft, all bets are off as to whats tore up". Pulled the driveshaft off and put a dial indicator on the shaft and turned the pto shaft from the rear of the tractor. How much do you have to pull off to get the shaft out? Hopefully this project is nearing the end as we're almost to the end of the tractor! Once again any and all help is appreicated. davids

Its been a while since i did one. i think if you take the 3pt off you can get the shaft and gear out. there is a plug in the rear you will have to take out to get the shaft out. good luck
