Can anybody explain how to pipe up a fuel system on an allis series b, mine has just one supply from the gas tank direct to the carb, the TVO tank has been excluded,there must be a way of switching from gas to TVO, does both feeds go first to the glass filter bowl ??

Whats a TVO tank? I work for an Allis dealer for a few years and do not know the term.

Tractor vaporizing oil, at least thats what it is called in the u.k dont know what you would call it Parifin may be ?? you can make it by mixing diesel, petrol (gas) and oil, if you look it up on the net you will find it.

Here in the states the small fuel tank was used for gasoline to start and warm the engine while the main fuel tank was filled with Distillate, also known as tractor fuel.

Thanks for that Kent.
Your quite right, we British call it TVO and you Americans call it Distilate.
Now what I need is a diagrame of the piping layout from both tanks to the carb.
